ADF Privacy Statement
At The Alliance Development Fund, Inc. (ADF), we know how important privacy is to you. Because of our interest in protecting your privacy, we have adopted the following privacy principles:
Our Commitment To Privacy
We recognize that you expect privacy and security for personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard the sensitive information about you that you have entrusted to us. We value your trust and will handle your information with care. Our employees may access information about you when needed to maintain your accounts or otherwise meet your needs. We may also access your information when considering a request from you for additional services or when exercising our rights under the law or any agreement with you.
We safeguard information according to established security standards and procedures, and we continually assess new technology for protecting information. Our employees are trained to understand and comply with these information principles.
Information We Gather and What We Do With This Information
We collect, retain, and use information to protect and administer your records and accounts to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and superior service. We collect and retain information about you from the following sources only for specific business purposes and will tell you why we are collecting and retaining it upon your request:
- Information we receive from you on applications, voluntary surveys, and other forms.
- Information about your transactions with us.
- Information we receive from The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
ADF works with a third party provider to deliver IRA products and service. We do not provide account or personal information to third parties for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies. Further, we do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside the operations of ADF unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; or (3) the disclosure otherwise is lawfully required.
Our Commitment to Data Security
We have procedures that limit access to personally identifiable information to only those employees with a business reason to know such information about you. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures and our policies. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.
ADF utilizes a network that provides security by controlling and limiting access to authorized users to utilize the network, through an established set of strict internal access authorizations, rights and privileges. In addition, special hardware and software is used as a "firewall" to protect confidential data from a public network, including the Internet.
Correct Inaccurate Information
Keeping your account information accurate and up to date is very important. If you ever find that your account information is incomplete, inaccurate, or not current, please notify us immediately. We will correct any erroneous information as quickly as possible.
